Terry Butcher and Maurice Malpas' reign of terror has come to an end at Hibernian.

Would have been underwhelmed if he'd been appointed our manager let alone WBA.

I agree, massively underwhelming for a Premier team.

My WBA supporting mate just texted me. Livid. Cheap option. Not pleased at all.

Sherwood wanted his own staff apparently so that's why they ditched him and went for Irvine.

Yeah Sherwood wanted Ramsey and Ferdinand yet WBA weren't willing to pay them what Sherwood thought a good wage.

Alan Irvine.

You would be disappointed if he was appointed at Swindon.

He MUST have something about him, his managerial record is poor to say the least but seems very highly regarded.

Wow, they've got themselves a gem there. Aren't there any jobs going in the upper reaches of the Championship or Premier League where he can use his skills? I suppose he'll only be there for a short time before he gets poached to the top again.
