I think Sherwood will just go back to his old position at Spurs.

Thought he had already said no to that idea

He'll need body armour at White Hart Lane before the season is out.

Cant see what Cooper has done wrong to be replaced by anyone at the moment

Can somebody fill me in the the Sherwood Spurs thing?

I look at the table and see they are in 7th. Is that not a reasonable position for them?

I'm clearly missing something (don't watch the PL), what am I missing?

Tonkings by the teams above is now considered a highly sackable offence.

Spurs think they are entitled to be a big club so, therefore, they perceive they need a 'big' manager.

Couldn't get one when they sacked AVB mid season so they decided to tread water with Sherwood.

Then, of course, there's next seasons season tickets to think about!

Sherwood is just a scapegoat for Levy pissing £100m up the wall, like Vilas Boas was before him.
They may be shit managers, but neither signed all that shit they have.

Spurs crave Champion's League football....they had a punt on him to replace AVB, and he doesn't look up to it, so nice little pay off, something on his CV which has raised his profile and on to another fat contract.

Norwich could be a distinct possibility...

I think the problem is the jury is still out on Cooper and the fan base is certainly divided. Coopers record before Swindon is hardly worth shouting about and one wonders how much control and influence he has as it's well documented that Power calls the shots. Now if that's the case and what with Power and Sherwood being mates it's certainly not out of the equation. Sherwood has been a coach at Spurs since 2008 and is highly respected by many of the younger players. It may well just be that Power may think that Sherwood could offer more to Swindon than Cooper can. Personally I can't see it happening as I'm sure Sherwood will have plenty of offers during the summer.

Sherwood really should have gone to Nottingham Forest.
