Hughton given the boot by Norwich. Calderwood and Trollope too.

Odd decision/timing, though clearly Norwich should be knocking on the door of Europe rather than being only  5 points clear of the drop.

Maybe something has gone on out of the public eye, or a replacement is available now that they are worried won't be there in the summer..

Seems very bad timing by Norwich on this but apparently Hughton wasn't well liked by the fans there for his style of play, but they liked him as a bloke just not as a manager.

He has been abused by Norwich fans for a few months and several are saying he lost the dressing room a while ago with the players not respecting him.

There is mention that staying up will be worth £80mill to them so in some ways I can understand them making the change if it will galvanize the players into getting that one more win which they weren't looking like getting under Hughton then its probably worth it for them.

Odd timing for sure(should have gone a while ago) but I don't think he's lost the dressing room. They're just shite.

Hope not....seems a bit of a knob.  It means though our Spurs link has gone, although I suppose Rambo is still there.

Wage cut aside, I wouldn't be surprised if Sherwood was appointed Director of Football at Swindon.

I think Sherwood will just go back to his old position at Spurs.
