I had a little look through the forum and it's funny how forum characters and attitudes translate almost in their entirety across various forums and between clubs.

You could likely pick any thread and change the club/player/manager names and see how easily football rants are like paining by numbers. Same issues, same moans, same reasoning, same old heads, same young heads, same vitriol, same positive counteraction... It's funny.

That is very true, well certainly in the lower leagues anyway, not so much in the Premiership.

I have a Southampton supporting cousin who lives in Taunton, who has just texted me to say that Swindon is too far to come for a cup match.

You can watch it on The League Cup Show on iPlayer... was about half way through the show Failing that, proper highlights will be up tomorrow.
