Just spoke to Crawley ticket office:

You can buy tickets at the ground on Tuesday from 5pm until kick-off for both seating and terrace, although cannot guarantee there will be any seating left.

So what about after 5pm?

Can you buy terrace tickets before kick off?

Never even considered this might be a problem.

Just trying to work out the quickest way back to the station after the match - don't want to miss my 22:01 train! Does anyone know if there is a shuttle bus or something that you can pay for on the day?

Dont remember one. Do what we did last year, ring a cab when leaving the ground and ask for a pick up at the half moon, by the time you get there the cab arrives. I made a train just after 10.
