First 20 mins - fucking pap.
Until the second goal - excellent but got to make pressure like that count in future.
Entire second half - an advert for L2 football at it's dullest for both sides.

Didnt enjoy it today, first home league game for a couple of years and despite it being our biggest game of the season it did nothing to reignite the enthusiasm, was just a good day out with the biys and a few beers - the football was incidental. Disappointing.

That's what comes of spending most of your time watching prem games on the telly!

It really wasn't that bad.

Seriously though. Moribund.

I guess you don't have any singers behind the goal.

At least there's the bloke in an orange waistcoat to keep you all amused with his stories from that morning's dust collection I guess. But surely the carts don't run on a Sunday. Who works on a Sunday? Maybe he's a vicar in a church undergoing renovations? That must be it.

I guess we have had 10 years of not achieving a great deal on the pitch which can take the enthusiasm away from the average fan. Whereas the pox are now punching above their weight bringing a childlike excitement to some of their fans

I seldom watch any football these days - I've never recovered from summer 2010 after our diabolical Wembley effort then England's joke performances in SA.

I'm like the new Oevil Red.

The trick is to remember you're watching a pretty shite level of football.

That way you expect the mistakes and are pleasantly surprised when anything remotely skillful happens.

i'm surprised this place isn't crawling with more yellow vermin to be honest. Still, it's hardly surprising given the lack of vocal support for their biggest game

That's very similar to the advice I give birds before taking them home

A corner that was needlessly conceded.

I think you're right - Ritchie knocked it out unneccesarily when Kennedy was available.

You may also have noticed that the linesman flagged for the free kick for their 2nd.. The ref wasn't going to give it.
So it could have all been very different.

Did Anyone see Paul Buckel at the County Ground yesterday, i thought i saw him leaving the box office about 30 mins before kick-off.

Either this or there's a town fan with an uncanny likeness to PB.

If he was i wonder why he was there  Hmmm  scouting possibly or just fancied a day out.

Took the opportunity of taking in 2 teams that he will be playing over the next few months whilst only being an hour away from where he lives I expect.  No real point in him watching Prem games on the box is there.

Rovers fans reckon they're in for Constable. Not sure if they were just winding up scummers though.
