Did he offer us anything that we don't already have? Sounded as if he was a good young player with energy and guile but we've got that anyway. Any thoughts from someone who actually went though?

I just got back and Lee Homes oozes class like an infected wound oozes puss.

Sadly, in the second half he did not see much of the ball but with time, our lot should learn how best to use him and get the ball to him more and he in turn will learn how to get himself into the game more.

He is very very skilfull, very very fast and is a great crosser.  I would love to see him sign on loan for the rest of the season (NO chance of us getting him permanently!)

How long do we have him on loan?

I really hope King doesnt replace Holmes with Howard on tuesday. Would do Howard some good to have a game or two on the bench.

I was saying on the way back that there's no way King should change the side for the next game to accomodate Howard.  Holmes is miles better and Howard doesn't deserve to stroll back into the side.

Holmes stuck to the left, Igoe was more middleish with Roberts playing wide right, linking up with Jenkins.
