I would like us to sign Constable because:
a) Those lot down the A420 would go mad b) 90% of you lot would go mad c) DV will probably explode in a fit or rage d) Reg will cream himself with negativity e) I think he'll actually score goals for us

f) It would also enable the hacks at the Adver to use the headline 'Good afternoon, Constable' when he scores a couple.

Beano is overweight, lazy kind of player, when the chips are down he goes missing by all accounts, surely we just need Clarke to partner Connell/Kerrouche. I would however love the fact that we would have poached a Pox player and be it he is a Town fan

It's the passing resemblance to Plug from the Bash Street Kids. We had him on trial one pre-season a few years ago, albeit under a different manager and he wasn't good enough.
I'd rather we spent the money elswhere.

Let's hope comments like these don't look a little daft on Monday morning when he's banged a couple in for Oxford. I'm not normally superstitious, but I hate tempting fate.

Right, so it's out of the question that maybe he's improved?

Didn't say that. I just think that he had a chance and wasn't good enough then and he's now playing for the Pox. Everything about it is just wrong. If we're going to have to pay for him, I think we should spend the money elsewhere. Might be different if he was on a freebie and low wages. Anyway, I don't think he's the type of player that we're looking for.
