Early kick offs are meant to curb drinking before the game but the pubs will always moan about losing out on business so they open earlier. Basically what i'm trying to say is that early kick offs are a bit pointless.

Went to Walsall once on the 7am train, and had 6 cans of premium lager before we got to Birmingham Wetherspoons at 10am.
And to be fair, that was too much. Caught the 9.15am the season after and had a much better day.
