Mame is available on the iTunes app store for any old skool gamers out there.

It's called iMame - get it quick before Apple pull it.

I can sort a rom set out on DVD for anyone that needs it.

Right I have just downloaded the app on my iPad...

What do I do next?

Learn how to quote properly.

Then you need the roms. You can download them (about 2Gb, PM me for links) or I'll burn a DVD for you (PM me).

Can anyone recommend a calendar app that works cross ios (i.e blackberry/iphone) that sends text reminders?

I know O2 had the joggler but all users had to be on O2 to use it.

Just got the new Samsung Note 2 and I'm annoyed that it does not have a sky go app for it, I assumed all new modern smart phones would but obviously they don't, the fuckers.

The problem is that it is too new, Sky won't be releasing the app to any device running the Jelly Bean version of Android for at least a month i.e. blame Sky.

Quite why they won't allow the previous version to be downloaded to JB devices is a mystery.

If you want to play old arcade games (ie Mame) on your iOS device download Gridlee. Do it quick as come Monday morning when Apple realise it's a full version of Mame which can be used by copying roms over they'll remove it.

You'll need to jailbreak it first to run the SNES emulator. Then you need the SNES rom set, I normally go for the No Intro sets which you'll find on the main torrent sites.

Dunno. None of mine are jailbroken, other than my Apple TV.

Haven't tried it but looks like a full jailbreak is now available for iOS 6;
