I think he played crap on purpose, so everyone could hypothesise as to why he was crap several months after playing his last game for us.

Wow, his foresight really paid off.

I find it amazing people are still willing to defend him having had this long to reflect. It seems to be mainly based on this 'nice guy' image a section of our fans created of him. To me and many others he camed across as quite arrogant in the sense that he didn't really seem to care that he was shit or want to do anything about it. I'm sure he definitely clocked up the most £'s per ground covered given the cash he was on.

I just thought he was plain lazy, he never looked to close down any defenders, allowing them free reign to ping the ball out of defence, I never saw him once make a gut busting run, errrrm... he made Fola Onibuje look talented. (Sorry Coca)

Maybe the time inside sent him off track a bit, as he had a reasonable amount of ability in his early days.

He did put in probably the tackle of the season - can't remember which game but it was a superbly timed bone cruncher. He was shit but better than Dossevi and a load of other shite we've had. There is no doubt his better days are behind him.

Saw Pericard down at Next Generation gym a few months ago just sitting on a machine doing nothing. He sat there with fiddling with some kind of machine for at least an hour. Not just lazy on the pitch.

I think most of us wanted him to do well. He got loads of shit but there was one game where he played a blinder at the county ground and people were chanting his name. I cant remember what game that was though. It only happened the once.

He played well as a lone striker in the home game against Rovers last year, I think Charlie was injured or suspended.
