Seeing as you're working there, I got given one of those card jobbies with 20 quid of credit on it. I also got given 20 quid HMV vouchers but thats beside the point I think.

Whats the deal with teh card then?

I got a hmv voucher card but it doesn't say how much is on it :?  :shock:

Is it like a crdit card, you pay for at the end of the month.
A few shops a doing them.

wrong.

what dave is talking about is a 'gift card' - it's just a credit card-style replacement for the traditional paper gift vouchers. you just use the card as you would with vouchers dave, get what you want and take it to the tills, hand over the card.

whits if you take your card into the store and give it to someone on a till they'll be able to tell you how much is on it.

I was just guessing. My missis has got one from newlook and thats what it does there.

not really, the cards themselves are flimsy plastic, not credit card standard. also, they're much quicker to put through the till than gift vouchers so we can serve more customers.
