Had my mountain bike stolen from work yesterday  Crying. After speaking to police and site security it turns out that another one was robbed last week from the same place, then low and behold, the same 3 people are hanging around again today and got cleared off by site security who had phoned the police who by 4.30 today had still not turned up!

Suppose bike theft is of little interest even though they know who these people are. Little wonder there is so much crime when they are fairly confident they ain't going to get caught.

So if anyone sees or gets offered a white Felt Q920 its probably mine!

Suppose i can be grateful that i had mine insured so will at least get some sort of replacement, but that was little
consolation on my walk home from work!

Was thinking of asking these thieves if they can nick me a bike then i can sell the one i get from the insurance company!

Unlucky dude. We had a warning at work last month, that bikes are getting stolen from all local Towns near Swindon (calne here) and selling them on in Swindon. They even had a list of wanted bikes on the notice board. The police don't seem interested to be honest.

Something similar happened to us a few years back. I woke up to realise that somebody had broken in and was in the kitchen, so I decided to sneak down and teach the cunt a lesson. Luckily for him, the brain dead twat saw me coming and managed to get out of the back door and legged it.

As I was not going to catch the fucker, I rang 999 and 20 minutes later the first lot of plod roll up as nonchalant as you like, followed 10 minutes later by a dog handler from Marlborough (I was living in west swindon at the time), followed by the police helicopter after half an hour.

Needless to say, the cunt who had broken in was long gone, so they decided to ask me what I would have done had I caught him. Telling them that I would have probably killed him, they then gave me a long winded lecture about taking the law into my own hands and how it was me that was likely to get arrested. Fucking idiots.

To cap it off, I then receive the standard letter from victim support saying how sorry they were etc.. etc.. and a fucking questionaire from wiltshire police asking how they had performed in the execution of their duties. They actually ended up sending me two, as I don't think they liked some of the sarcastic answers they got to the first one that I sent back for the personal attention of the chief constable. Retards.

yer makes u laugh how the perpetrators know there is little chance they will get caught and if they do they wont get anything more than a slap on the wrists.

Found out today thanks to the CCTV footage that the police know who 2 of the 3 bike thieves are so why they have done nothing is beyond me.

I would recommend Mitchells cycles to anyone looking to buy a bike, they have been really good and helpful to me the last couple of days.
