Was Kerrouche actually one of the 2? Or can we expect a pair of new triallists?

i have to confess I am posting a bit more than usual, with a fair bit of "filler" just becsaause I want to get to 1,000 posts.

When I got to that mark on thisis I never posted again

Presumably that was because 1000 thisis posts is the official cut off point at which social services admit that things have got way out of hand and you are detained for urgent treatment in a secure mental hospital? How can it be right that prolific thisis posters are allowed to walk the streets without supervision when no one knows when they may suffer a nostalgia attack and savagely bore people to death with tales of Arthur Horsfield, Ken Beamish etc. I expect to see a Panorama programme exposing this scandal shortly.

I'd say the Brazillian is pretty much off, the other trialist is meant to be english?

This is true  Hmmm It just seems that they never really said much about him, all the other strikers that have been announced have either been signed or told to fuck off. Admittedly they once said it wasn't going to happen  but then it was back on. And if i remember correctly he was a "target man" which would see alot of people cream themselves and shut the fuck up

Additional stats...

2005-2006: S.C Douai
2006-2007: AC CambricFrance CFA (12 matches, 7 goals) (Cut France: 6buts)
2007-2007: KSK RenaixBelgium Ligue2 (11 matches, 8 goals)
2007-2008: USM AlgiersAlgeria Ligue1 (19 matches, 7 goals) (League of the Arab Champions) (5 matches, 3buts)
2008-2009: GFCO Ajaccio (France) CFA (16 matches, 7 goals)
2009-2010: Naval May 1Portugal Ligue1 (25 matches, 7 goals)
2010 -: Al Urooba U.A.E League Division 1 (19 matches, 12 goals, 6 Assists)

Quite impressive, the standard of the leagues he's played in are arguable but if he beds in and settles he could be a real useful addition.

I like the YouTube clip of him nearly mucking up a 4 yard tap in. Luckily for him, it hit the bar and bounced back in.

Well we've still got the dutch winger guessing the two more signings mentioned could be him and the other mystery English triallist. (Kyel Reid?)

OST,i wasn't directly aiming my post at you. There are plenty of mong posts in this thread along with yours Wink

No I realise that but I just wanted to clarify my point. I don't like people writing players off before they kick a ball and I didn't want to be seen as doing the same. It's just that on day 1 v Crewe I do not expect our front two to be Connell and this lad. Whoever is partnering Connell I do not believe has been signed yet.

Have one of you lot been busy on Wiki regarding Kerrouche?

"Kerrouche was labeled as a handful by England international Sol Campbell, he was also classed by Zinedine Zidane as one of the greatest players he has ever played against. He plays striker in FourFourTwos greatest team of the century along with Thierry Henry and Billy Paynter."

and Zidane is described as a "hard working, no nonsense, row z typical No 5"

I hope these never-played-in-England exotics give us a bit more than Heiselberg and Cobian when the speculation stops and the football starts.

I didn't think we had any opther trialist's at the moment other than the dutch guy, I'm assuming PDC is looking at the loan market for 1 or 2 that he still wants to add

He said there will be two more signings. I take that as the loan signings aswell, making it 4 additions.

I took it as he wanted another 3 players full stop whether they be permanent or loan deals but 1 is highly likely to be the dutch guy currently on trial

Where did this Kyel Reid rumour spring from anyway?
