He was awesome when he was on loan with us in L1.

At the time (2004? Crazy to think it was that long ago - 8 years!!!!!!!!) I was very surprised he dropped to L1 to get some first team football - even more surprised now that he's had to drop to L2.

I'm not sure why it hasn't happened for me but after his spell with us I'd expect him to at least be a top half regular championship player.

Likewise. He was only 17 at the time, had been Derby's youngest ever player, and looked very good for us. I think he has struggled with injuries. Always liked him but  I hope he has an appalling 2011/12 now.

Kerrouche interview (poorly translated by google)

Here's just the Swindon bits.

Quote
You sign in Swindon in stride. There, you join a football monster in the person of Paolo Di Canio. How do you pass the Emirates 'League Two' English?

The coach was looking for a striker, he sees my video and contact me. She likes my profile, I do not take him long to sign and Swindon.

"Di Canio knows football but management level, it is more than mediocre. "

Di Canio was known player, how Di Canio is the coach?

He knows football, you can not take that away from him. In terms of management by cons ... it is more than mediocre. This is an impulsive person who can not stand not being the center of attention. When the team wins, it was through his coaching, when it loses it's the players who have played badly ... It's how Di Canio. He tried to install a climate of fear in the team, he even said I had simulated an injury. When a guy missed a Cygnus' he blamed it on the chin. In short, it was not healthy. I told him never disrespect but I do not approve of these methods and told him openly ... It certainly did not like. In the end, I had no confidence, he no longer mine.

However, your stats are not bad at all, after ten league games you are in the league top scorer (6 goals) ratio ... Your playing time / same goals is excellent (8 goals in 18 games throughout tournament confused)! ?

It's true, I was undisputed holder until my injury in December, and I can even say that if I had continued well, I could register a score goals because the team we had was very strong We were so ... above the other teams in the division. Even though my grandmother had been a coach, we would have been champions in December ... My injury was the perfect excuse to get out of the team. I never saw reinstated. This is how I have been set aside. I was then loaned to Oxford to find playing time late in the season before returning to Swindon where I was clearly become undesirable.

Seems very damning of PDC (to be expected) but he seems to be damning of many other people throughout his career in the rest of his interview.

Anyone got a translation for that?

I believe it has something to do with Bruce Forsyth

When somebody missed a meeting they got a severe reprimand.

I believe.
