I shall be in London for a few days over New Years Eve and have a few hours of 'freedom' on Wednesday evening. Any recommendations/suggestions as what I can do to pass the time (bar wise) in Covent Garden?

Why just Covent Garden?

The transport museum is interesting if you're a nerd like me.

I think there's a James Bond museum nearby.

I always head the The Porterhouse on Maiden Lane. Decent beer and food and big enough to not get too rammed.
