They are taking the piss. Surely the club can't charge that amount!?

Fucking hell!  I wonder if it's just because it's first game of the season and they expect a bumper crowd with PdC at the helm?

If that's the norm then the already small followings of most L2 clubs will be fucking tiny.

Can't be right surely? I thought away fans had to be charged the same as home fans for the same stand?

How much is a single match ticket for the Arkels then?

According to the Crewe site, it is £25 and you pay on the gate.

Away support groaned a lot the last time we were at this level.

£25 isn't good but I hope we charge Oxford double Smiley

There are some decent away followings there...more than I would have expected for League 2.  That's good.

In fairness, he's talking about away fans in a thread about away fans Hmmm

Well the thread relates to away fans, as does my post. The point is that apart from table toppers and local derbies, L2 away support is low enough already without pricing people out of travelling. Maybe STFC think the hard core will still come? Plenty moaned about £18.50 at our place.

Oh I missed that. I thought it was about overcharging Crewe!

The outstanding one for me was Hereford, given their home support. All the other larger following were fairly local, or table toppers (Vale were at the time), or Bradford!

Oh, and Lincoln paid for their fans to come. Thought it might help them escape relegation.
