Start > Run > Type devmgmt.msc > OK

Under Network adaptors, right click the wireless adaptor and select Update driver.

If that doesnt work then uninstall the wireless driver reboot the lappy and reinstall the wireless driver (it could well install itself automatically anyway upon reboot)

no wireless adapter option.
network adapters,pcmcia adapters, are the only ones. I'm guessing the network one is right?
