Problems with FM11

Hi folks,

I'm a year into my FM11 game, and now it's got stuck. Every time I submit my team for the next match I get an error message saying "not well-formed (invalid token) at line 1 of highlights.xml"

then "not ... line 1 of speed.xml". So I click Ok.
then I get  "not ...line 1 of 2d speed.xml". So I click Ok.

I get a few of these, then get to the Opposition Instructions page and the resolution goes weird and more error messages come up.

I tried restarting the game, restarting the laptop, and Reinstalling the game but none of that hs worked. Help?

Perhaps Danny Wilson got to this point before you hence the reason why our season fell apart...
