I've no doubt it will, but I'm sure he would rather have been playing.

Owen Hargreaves was brilliant for Bayern and (when played in his favoured position) did well for England.

Injuries ruined him here. Unless he retires, I'd be interested to see where he goes. Probably Newcastle United Smiley

8 or 9 years ago during a certain world cup he was under rated.

That's £500k a game, plus whatever his wages were over the 3 years.

Will be plenty of PL teams trying to sign him, a bargain if he keeps away from injury.

On his day he is a quality player.
Hargreaves, Woodgate, Owen, three good players all looking likely to be available on frees this summer, just a shame about all their injuries.

He was our best player in the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

definitely underrated by many prior to the 06 WC, influenced by the xenophobic views of our press that always insisted that the English league was far superior to any of those foreign ones, so regarded his status as a Bayern Munich star as being roughly equivalent to that of a championship player.

To be honest i dont think he ever got to show his potential, He could of been a very good player, but as what happens with a lot of players injury ruined them, it a shame Angry
