I suspect that we are also overestimating the impact, if any, of this forum. Once I have logged out, I think nothing of it. I am sure that most of us are the same.
That was the train of thought I was going down based on his previous short absence when Covid kicked off. I could be very wrong, but I got a sense he used this for a bit of "fun" but had far more important (real?) things to be getting on with when that happened, and poking at people on here/taking some digs was the last thing on his mind. He vanished without much of a song and a dance second time around, so I doubt very much that any individual prompted the move. more likely he just can't be arsed with it. |

I’ve always liked Reg and thought his opinion certainly on football was usually very accurate despite its negative leanings.
To be me, at least he has become a bit of a caricature of himself and it sometimes felt like he was holding an opposite, negative view of something just because...
Still, the TEF is a poorer place without his contributions
