I recently got a Blackberry Curve 8520, haven't downloaded any apps for it yet.
I only got it because it was cheap (£15 a month with Vodafone).
I don't really care for mobile phones, but I was spending £10 a month just for a contract previously for a shitty Sony Ericsson phone.
Anyway, yeah, let me know know if you find any good (free) apps available for download.

I am on my third Blackberry, got a Torch which is fine.  If you are a driver and have hands free, download "drivesafe.ly" which will read your e-mails, handy if you are on the road a lot. Qype is pretty good, used it a lot last season when travelling to away games for local cabs and shit.  Lookout Mobile security is a must, trapster will give you locations of mobile speed cameras.  Blackberry apps superstore is the place to look, although its American there are loads of free apps there.  Hope this helps.
