So I've got a Balckberry Curve 8520 and last night a routin ugrade of the app world feature appeared. Thinking nothing of it I proceeded with it, rebooted the device as suggested afterwards only to find the icon for app world and BlackBerry messenger missing upon its reboot.

Have been on the phone to Orange all day who have done nothing to help.

Have deleted it, redownloaded it, searched in ever folder for it and still can not find it.

Just wanting to know if anyone has had the same problem, any tips or generally a solution.

Oh, and a quick heads up, it's version 2.1.2.15, so be warned if you get it through.

Go to the blackberry site and click for a download link to be sent to your phone.

Did it on Saturday.

Have had to send my BlackBerry off for repair, bag of wank.

For a company of that size not to have a helpline to contact in THIS country is absolutely ridiculous!

No idea, don't have one. Expected more bites than this, must have been too obvious.

Glad I could help, though I'm surprised there isn't an app to suit this need of yours.

Could have just re-flashed the software using the disc in the box rather than sending it away for repair...

Tried it and the phone wouldn't connect to the computer.
