Can't believe it. I purposefully avoided the game by going for a long walk, got back and checked the result and was completely astonished.

Don't want to see you on here on matchdays again before the end of the season then.  Cheesy

less than 400 from Swindon today, but the support sounded awesome and Hart was quick to acknowledge that too!

The Brentford forum reckon there were over 600.

I didn't listen to the second half but we won despite of Hart's negative line-up, surely?

Looking at others games in the next 2 weeks it is just such a shame that we haven't picked up more points in the last few games. Its all too late, but we could make it look very tight.

It sounded pretty boring. We stopped them from playing, but did sound as if we had several chances from set pieces and running into the box. Maybe battling 1-0s are all we can potentially muster.

I just got a radio signal in time to hear Andrew's goal on the way back from Blenheim Palace. Great result and glad to see Poxford's play-off chances are over.

a question to ask all of you who keep harping on about 4,5,1(which is 4,3,3 and is repeatedly mentioned by the manager as the formation)
why is it negative?

Bristol Rovers still have to go to Southampton, Bournemouth and Colchester.
Walsall still have to play Brighton and away to Southampton
Notts County seem to be even worse than us and are in free fall

Is there still hope?

No chance. Walked six miles today and it's absolutely killed me.

Because you use two wide men and one striker, rather than having two/three strikers up front working together.
Basicly it means players like Grella and Dossevi having to play a deeper role to support the likes of Andrew, either that or you have two wide players having to attack and defend.

4,5,1 is a lot more defensive/negative than 4,3,3.

In the position we found ourselfs in when Hart took over 4,3,3 should have been the formation for home matches,4,5,1 worked today but alas it seems the win has come much to late.

@leefer

Poole beat Blackfield 1-0 to top the league

Fawley    0    -    2    Brockenhurst  still second from bottom

Another bit of useless info, Supermarine's goalie's mum was absolutely hammered last night

I think arriba was asking the question rhetorically and with a hint of sarcasm.
