I wonder if anyone whos clued up on I-Pod and I tunes could give me some advice.  Had major laptopproblems and had to revert to factory settings.  I backed up all my programmes to a "click free" but when I reinstalled them I have lost about 400 songs from I Tunes.  I think there is a patch I can buy to enable me to transfer the songs from my I-Pod back to I tunes but I don`t know what it is called.  Anybody know anything about these? need help as I have got rid of the originals of some of the songs and I dont want th resync the I-pod and lose what I have on it.

Just a thought. Turn off any auto-syncing before you plug your ipod in. iTunes may automatically launch and then sync if not.
