Playing half life 2 for the first time.

Genuinely scary shit.

I played it back in October, loved it. Started on episode one, got frustrated and didn't touch it for months. After finishing Portal and Portal 2 a couple of times I decided I needed to fill the resulting void, so went back to HL2E1. Finished it the other day, am well into Episode 2 now.

Fed up of bastard antlions though.

Yeah I've been working my way through LA Noire, probably about 3/4 of the way in. Really impressive and immersive game, although some of the aspects of the investigations can get a little repetitive after a dozen or so cases.

I want the new Battlefield 3 but  after watching all the video's and trailers for the game there's no way in hell my PC could run it  Sad

I'll have to stick with Battlefield 2  Roll Eyes

Playing Age of Empires II again

Was worried it would be outdated, therefore crap and disappointing as is often the case with the classics. You always seem to remember them being better than they really are.

I am, however, thoroughly enjoying it.

Just finished Dead Space 2. Not as scary as the first. The Move expansion is pretty good fun. Like Time Crisis but a kind of prologue to the whole Dead Space story.

Has anyone played the Uncharted 3 beta yet? Took me a while to get used to the 3rd person view but once I got back into Uncharted mode again I was away. It's up until 13th July for PS Plus members. The co-op games are good fun so I suggest a download.
