The boys have been playing 007 Legends all day - seems to be a hit with them.

I found my old 1990's copy of UFO: Enemy Unknown today. I wonder if it'll work on win 7.....!

If it doesn't then run it in a VM. I do that to play old versions of Civ. XP usually does the trick for DOS games.

Ooooh, where from? Still haven't bought it myself yet.

Ta, only got the home premium of Win 7, not sure I can go down the VM route with that.

No, but it works through dosbox.

Edit.. should've read the rest of the thread before commenting.

I think I remember playing that when I was younger but not having the faintest idea what was going on.

Elite was a brilliant trading/space flying game, fantastic at the time and probably would still be a good playable game today.

I wasn't (and still am not) into sci fi, spacey type things so maybe why I never gave it much of a chance.

I really only played football/sports games when I was a kid but can't be bothered with computer games at all now, my only games console I had (a PS2) I gave to charity recently.

Frontier Elite 2 was the kidder. Brilliant game, and I do still sometimes play it now.
