I love the GTA games and have completed 3 or 4 without using cheats.

I only cheat because I can get bored-of/pained-by weaponry and health restraints. It's not that I'm shit, simply that a game is about fun and I have more fun when I'm winning with ease! Smiley

Vice City is still my favourite, absolutely love that game.

3 was the one that really taught me the love, which I think was actually the first proper one wasn't it?

Is Vice City the one with the big mansion situated on an island between 2 cities, which you eventually own? If that's the one you're on about there was a mission on that which taught me to cheat. You're a gunner on a chopper and there's too many fuckers to kill, before you get killed, so used the slow mo' cheat. Many times!

San Andreas is probably the best game of all time in my opinion.

It's making me want to play GTA IV again, but play Gay Tony or lost & Damned which ive never played, i always thought they were pointless but a few people has reccomended i play them especially gay tony.

They're great, you've gotta play them. I bet you can get them for peanuts on eBay. I loved Gay Tony's, but was getting a bit bored of The Lost and The Damned.

So tempted to crank up GTA4 again, but the wife is hogging the TV, I've got a newborn to look after and an exam to study for.

Mental note: Must buy second TV and get qualified before GTA5 is released.

Recently downloaded X3: Terran Conflict and I fucking love it. You start off as a trader with 2 space ships and make money by trading and doing jobs a la Frontier Elite II. I'm a few days in now and have a fleet of over 40 ships all working for me and just bought my first space station/factory. Massive time sink.

Skyrim runs a little jerky on my PC. The spec is AMD Phenom II X6 1055T @ 3.5GHz, 8GB RAM, Radeon 6950 (OC'd a little and unlocked) and am running the game off my SSD - anyone else had problems?

Not at all SY that spec "should" run it without too many problems, turn down the antialiasing to 2 samples and the aniostropic filtering to 4 samples and then untick FXAA in advanced options, then everything should be ok set to high.

Skyrim can take a lot of tweaking to get running smoothly on the lower spec PC's but almost every PC I have installed it on (excluding onboard graphics and older dual core) can usually run it smoothly with some playing around, dont always go with the automatic set up option and set them individually.

My daughter has a play PC I built her and thats only a Athlon X2 7750 3.0ghz with single 4850 graphics and 4gb memory and that runs it easily at 30+fps on those settings.
