why are you here then orange bob

To make myself feel better, I come on this thread, and point and laugh at the geeks, (metaphorically of course Smiley )

Of course I'm jesting and do also play games. I enjoy playing Monopoly on the Iphone with the gf which is a good way to pass the time on the trains. I also play the occasional game of Fifa 2012, and scrabble.

Perhaps it's the weather and the time of year, but I'm getting a real craving for doing some gaming at the moment. Skyrim sounds tempting, but having never enjoyed RPG games, I feel like it will be a step to far. I'm thinking about buying the first of the Uncharted series soon, as I heard they're kind of good.

That sounds far too geeky for my liking.
I'm now picturing you lot all sat in a room, with headsets on, a la Big Bang Theory.

From your postings, I picture you as a bit of a Howard.
Haha I'm not quite as sleazy - or Jewish.

Ranged Combat (Archery) is good for taking dragons down effectively. Some magic works but they have a high resistance to magic so can drain your magicka quick.

I've just started out Skyrim and went for a Red...something or other... Wondering if I should start again or not. I'm about to face the Dragon at Whiterun and I'm only level 5. I think I might come back to that one later.

Skyrim question.

PC or PS3 version?

If I get it on PS3 I will only be able to pkay after the kids/wife have gone to bed - on the PC I can play when I like. Are there any particular benefits or drawbacks to either platform?
