Having worked with him, he was a genuinely warm and utterly lovely man. Always interested in others and without ego, despite his success.

This is really, really sad news. I'm too young to have remembered him from the Brunel room days, but have met him on a few occasions and always had time to stop and chat, a generally really nice bloke. Thoughts are with his friends and especially his family. Poor kids, not to grow up with a dad. It puts everything else in perspective.  No

I used to play footy with him back in the day - top bloke and like everyone has said very genuine and friendly.
