Adver on twitter just posted that Calvin Andrew (Palace striker) is at the CG... thoughts? Record doesn't look brilliant but could be the target man we need alongside Benyon.

Can't be any worse than Pericard or Dossevi.

A big lump. If we're going to play one up front, it needs to be a player like this I guess.

Too late to make an impact. Might do well enough to be offered a contract (assuming he wants to leave Palace and play in L2!).

If we can keep Benyon fit and Andrew can take defenders out of position then we might at least go down with a bit of a fight. Problem is this is what Pericard should have been doing all season.

Don't want to run him down before he's even signed but I spoke to a Palace ST holder and his exact words were:
comedy striker mate, cannot finish for shit but works his nuts off, become a running joke at Selhurst, scored 2 in 3 years....

If true then we are building a right collection of donkey strikers here: Pericard, Dossevi, Obika, Andrew - we may as well bring back Onibuje and Nouble.

Does it really matter anymore?
But anyway, been speaking to a few Palace fans today who have all said he is a complete Donkey with the touch of a rapist. Will fit in well then!
They also seem to think we are getting N'Diyae (sp) off them who is a centre midfielder.

Brighton fans think he's OK. Played for them a few years back when the managed to stay up.

Alassane N'Diaye - a 6ft 5 lump. We do need more physical presence, but we also need goals. Its all a bit futile anyway isn't it?

It is futile, what is the point in fiddling around like this now? They should be beginning to build a team for next season now....

TBF Andrew sounds like the sort of thing who might be OK in L2...

I suppose they've got to be seen to be doing all they can to stay up in the face of the inevitable, but tbh I'd rather see some of the kids/prospects given a run out. Probably not a great idea right now though, the atmosphere's likely to be pretty poisonous for the rest of the season
