You chose the wrong side.
Let me get this straight..... Shady pretty much invites someone to call him a cunt, seemingly jokingly, Fred then does so, in the same tone, and Shady goes fucking mental.
Then a few people get self righteous about the tone of debate on the forum, ignoring the fact that the only real nastyness on the whole thread came from Shady himself.
Seriously if you and others don't like the culture of this forum, no-one makes you post here. Set up your own, and take the discontents with you. That's how this site came into existence in the first place when a whole bunch of people decamped from thisis.. when it became fucking unbearable.
Anyway this whole debate about the way new members are treated is a total crock. The overwhelming majority of first time posters get a pretty warm and encouraging welcome. Fuck me people have even adopted Crispy, and he's a spectacularly ignorant and bigoted little toe-rag in a pink jumper (people make allowances because he's young). Newbies who get shit tend to be the ones that are really fucking mouthy and abusive or cocky first off. The rest tend to get some good natured ribbing and if they take it in good humour, they're pretty much in.
Newbies don't get the treated exactly the same as long time posters no, and nor should they. You don't let people you've just met speak to you in the same way as your mates do you? Neither do I. But it doesn't take too long to establish yourself here, you just have to post something interesting or funny every now and again.
