By tools I mean players, who are in actual fact complete tools!

At this point Fittons' sole focus should be planning for next season, managing staff, players etc etc so God forbid we dont do a Stockport.

So basically to survive we just need to 18 points from 33. When so far we've managed 32 from 105. That's almost doubling the points haul from each game.
It's not going to happen is it?

The only positive that I can find is that it won't take 52 points to get to safety.
There's a real possibility this season that the team that finished 5th from bottom will set a record for the least amount of points gained without getting relegated.
There are some woeful teams in this league this season and I can't believe that we're one of them.

Tonight's bottom four are the sides that will go down in May, I'm fairly sure of that.

48-50 points would probably be enough to stay up but where would the points come from?
Huddersfield (A) 0 points Brighton (A) 0 points Exeter (A) 1 point Hartlepool (H) 3 points Brentford (A) 0 points Franchise (H) 1 points Notts County (H) 3 points Sheffield Wednesday (A) 0 points Oldham (H) 3 points Tranmere (A) 1 point
That would give us 45 points which wouldn't be enough i don't think.

I was like you. Even after the Carlisle game I was backing the players, I was actually convinced that we were going to get out of this. Then I went to the Walsall game and I came out of the ground with the exact same feeling that I had in 2006 after we lost 1-0 to Franchise. I just don't think the players have the ability to scrap and get results. They're a decent group of players, and whatever you say, on paper should be much much higher than where they currently are. But the points needed are too much to ask from the players from now until Prenton Park. We're doomed.

Yeah I think I remember saying that Walsall was our Franchise before the match on here actually.
I'm going to freeze myself, someone wake me up when the season's over.
Just don't lose me, I don't wanna wake up in 500 years to find out football doesn't exist (South Park fans)
I think it's because we've got a new player. It always pumps up my optimism and I was encourage by his performance today. Also with N'Diyieieieiye (sic) to possibly come in... who know.s.. Well, I know it's too little too late, but dammit NOT YET.

Maybe a point at Hudders or Brighton, 3 points at home to franchise and 3 points at Brentford, that would give us 51. I know I'm clutching at straws. If we're lucky and it goes down to the last day against Tranmere we might have a chance in a one off game.
