Yeah we were woeful that season. I remember we played Hartlepool at the end of February that year, it was a dreadful game and they nicked a 1-0 right at the end and that last minute cracker from Millwall at the den in the last seconds a couple of weeks prior to the Hartlepool game. That season I must of aged about 10 years.

That game was immense. End to end stuff.

DRS even got his cock out.

Looking back now that game and the last minute equaliser at Brunton Park was so crucial.

The difference between that team and this team is the ability to pull something out of no where!

A team with Simon Cox in it was always going to score enough goals to get enough points to stay up. Even if he got fuck all service he'd create his own chances with a bit of magic.

Don't think we have a player with that in his locker now at all.

Agreed however this team has more quality overall than that team (even though they haven't showed it enough this season) Cox was superb that season, without him we would have relegated.

Yep your right....second last away match.

Could be a good away day that if we can grab some points beforehand.

Just noticed that Walsall are at home to Daggers on tuesday night. Whats the best outcome of that for us? The obvious answer is a draw but with Daggers having 4 games in hand over us, maybe a Walsall win would be better Huh?

Think the best outcome is suspicions aroused over unusual betting patterns in build-up to game, then ref abandons game  in 2nd half after multiple obvious match-fixing attempts, both teams docked 5 points as a result. Then it turns out that the unusual betting patterns were actually Peter Ridsdale trying one-last ditch attempt to save Plymouth by betting next month's players' wages on a series of unlikely but lucrative spread bets, so Plymouth get docked points too. And Yeovil somehow get dragged in as well. That would be the best outcome for us. Not very likely, I'll grant you, but it would help us out enormously

Reg will know this, whats our worse run of form ever ??

We've now picked up 3 points from a possible 27 over the past 9 games, has there been worse ?

In league terms, I'd look at 32/33, which was a bit of a mare

Just looked.

Conceded 105 goals and only got 29 points!

It was 2 points for a win then though.

We did get the odd win though, 05/06 saw us go 11 games without a win between beating Yeovil and Bristol City, a run which more or less sealed our fate, but of course we still had more points that season at the same stage than this.

I am only doing Div 3 here though.

12 games between wins in 55/56 looks favourite for Div 3...
