Also impressed with how they handled Christian Roberts both while at the club and with the Chelsea leg-ends match.
Can you elaborate a bit on that plz. I know Roberts was an alchy but what did he do at the legends game? Something controversial?

They gave Robbo some responsibility by making him vice captain. In Robbo's book, he praises both Wisey and Gus for helping him through a hard time. Batch means they sorted the Chelsea legends match for us.

Massive respect to them both, always thought that the venom felt towards Wise when he left was misplaced.

Got no problem with Wise/Poyet. But Wise would need a good assistant and I can't see Gus coming back somehow!

Shame Rotherham lost last night and dropped out of the auto picture....a trip to The New Gay Meadow, or Don Valley Stadium? Sort it out Millers.

Wise and Di Matteo ? I would be over the moon if that happened. Highly unlikely though.

Fucking right I would, if we'd have kept him and Gus we'd have won L2 by streets last time until Sturrock came in with his wanky football.

What Dave said. Sadly don't think it's likely to be an option

Wise is not a nice man. He's the late 90s version of todays Joey Barton!

Doesn't mean he's not a good manager. Don't hear people singing Alex Ferguson's praises as a person or nominating him for Man of the Year.

You're a knob as well, doesn't mean you can't do your job.

Martin Ling anyone? Sacked by Cambridge Utd in the new year, did a decent job at Orient, and was in the running before we appointed Wilson. Him and Wise, both Londoners, as a joint partnership, has to be a match to be reckoned with

Indeed see them as very similiar in size/stature to us. Checked and in fact they're just a few places away from us in the "all time" table http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/all-time-tableOne other thing i noticed on there - over 3700 matches and our goal difference is just +17. Decidedly average. our away record is rubbish p w d l gf ga w d l gf ga gd 48 Swindon Town played 3722 home 985 476 401 3371 2017 away 391 512 957 1994 3334 +14 4238

Bad day today....Bury lose at Stockport, Rotherham lose to Scum, and Bradford show signs of life, whereas Barnet look terminal....come on you norvern bastards, pull your fingers out.
