If you're on the blue template you will likely have a button on to the left below peoples AIM on their posts. If you are using the normal template, then it should be a link. Admins can't block anyway and can't be blocked.

You can also go to your profile and add users to the ignore list. You will also have an ignore count within your main profile, so you can see how many people think you're not worth listening to. Hopefully the bastard works.

I didn't think otherwise Davey poos. Although we do need an ignore button. Maybe I should call it a unDave button?

Answered in reverse order:

3. The template is the look or theme of the site - for want of a better way to describe it.
2. The normal template is the current default for the site, so the way you probably see the site. (Red and black, poor width and large black buttons.)
1. The blue template is the default for the forum software (SMF Default Theme - Core). You can change them, by going to Profile > Look and Layout Preferences > Current Theme: Forum or Board Default (change) and clicking change will bring up a list of available templates. There's really only 2, "Forum or Board Default" (Red Essence) and "SMF Default Theme - Core". Clicking use this theme changes it. There's also "Default Theme Red, but this is the poor cousin (as I never cleaned it up) to the SMF Default Theme - Core.

I knew some weren't gonna be happy, but people are constantly whinging as it is and right can't be done at the moment. At least this way people can choose if they don't want to listen to someone. It's common place on the vast majority of forums as it allows a degree of self policing.

Can you un-ignore someone once you've chosen to ignore them?
I want to test it our, but I may decide I want to read the same person's posts at a later date - they may come to their senses in a few weeks time!!

Yeah, the button turns into an unignore button when you click it. So if you're reading a thread, you can instantly choose to read the post and annoy yourself!
