Benyon had to be registered by the 5pm deadline to play tonight. He wasn't so can't play.

Some people in the excitement have got a little bit ahead of themselves.

Really?

Wilson said on the radio after the game saturday as long as they were signed before 11pm they could play

I'm going, which is a decent omen considering the only other away game I've done so far this season was Plymouth in the cup when we won 3-0.

So 2-0 Town, both scored by MOM Alan Alan Alan O'Brien. Blind optimism go!

You missed a goal - we scored 4. So 3-0 tonight then?

My memory of games is absolutely shocking, I can't remember much after Morrison scoring. I'll take 3-0.

It's at Dean Court is it not?  I think with renewed optimism we'll grab a goal or two.  Would love it if Benyon is eligible to start.  I can see us nicking a cheeky win despite being dominated for long periods.

Don't the league rules state that for a player to be eligble to be played the day afterwards then he has to be rgistered before 5pm or 6pm on the previous day of the fixture?

I've never understood this.  Why is he not ready?  Has the excitment of a fat pay cheque given him temporary memory loss and he's forgotten how to punt a ball?  I understand he's probably not on the same wavelength as the rest of the team yet, but given our predicament up front surely he's capable of at least a substitute role tonight?  I'd be very surprised if he was eligible and not involved.

new boy to score but we'll lose 2-1

You mean one of the new Centre backs? Benyon is unlikely to play.
