Does anyone else remember the timeframe around the Billy Paynter transfer?

That was the latest deal I can ever remember being done by STFC.

Did they accept the bid at 11.59, and then Paynter completed a medical the next day?

My noose is ready and waiting to slit my wrists.

I cant remember the exact time frames but I think I remember going to sleep that night with us having signed no one and not finding out till the following morning we'd got 3 players in.

Infact 3 that no rumour site or mate of mate had even linked us with.

Don't some of the transfer stories come out the following day?

The lack of noise from the county ground is a massive worry

Nobody could can complain if fans start losing it a bit now. The club silence keeps me helplessly hoping.

Been like it all season, even when a match is on.

1 goal in 31 appearances. I think we should be pleased we didn't sign him, the TEF would explode.

I did no research on his goalscoring antics.

Clearly neither have the Hamilton management team.

Hamilton do average about 1100 home fans a game.

I've got the noose sorted, couple of blades out ready and a couple of packets of strong painkillers.

Reckon that'll do it?

Run a hot bath to sit in Sam, when you slit your wrists the warm water will stimulate the blood flow and you'll bleed out quicker.
