Been listening to this song constantly, its probably one of the saddest songs I've ever heard. The lyrics are amazing. I love the way it builds to a fantastic foot-tapping crescendo - that you never see coming...

Truely sensational, well worth spending 5 minutes and 31 seconds of your life listening to it.

As I'm not 'down with the kids' this could be a really popular song at the moment, number 1 for ten weeks, may as well be posting up 'Anything I do I do it for you' up here etc, if so I'm sorry!

I agree with you on this.  I picked up the ep some time ago and just love this song.  I was ashamed of where I first heard it though.  That bland airhead twat Fearne cotton played it on her show.  The only time I ever listened to her show I promise.

Judging by some of the stuff you've posted on this thread you have impeccable music taste Mr Nash but hmmmm, is that the only time you've listened to her show???  Wink

I know old Fearney is a Mumford and Sons fan, The Middle East supported them in a recent tour, so that may explain how on earth it managed to get onto her show.

I've had this song in a playlist of only two for the past few days, the other being this, a slightly different kinda tune. Its dark and brooding so I love listening to whilst walking my dog in the local woods when its pitch black (is that too creepy, too weird sounding?)

Been reading/listening to this thread. Y'all have reasonable taste in music. My question is; how do I embed a video so I can subject you to mine?

I must be some kind of dinosaur as I can't work out how to embed the YouTube item in the message, but the attached Sigur Ros song has me obsessed at the moment.  Not new, but a little bit brilliant.
