Getting back into Raleigh Ritchie now his album is coming out in a few weeks.

Some of you will probably recognise him as Grey Worm from that there Game of Thrones.

Saw Ghostpoet in Oxford just after he released his first album. Really good live, and he watched his support act from the bar.

Not exactly my favourite but which classic does this remind you of, came out the same year 1967?

With a clip from Quadrophenia I think.

It would have to be Purple Haze wouldn't it?

Yes, a marked similarity.     Philip Davis as Chalky in the  Quadrophenia film clip, now in Poldark.

I'm more into stuff from an earlier era but I saw these guys ( Wolf Alice) on a TV program here (Sydney Australia) and thought that they sound quite ok.

Any opinions?

I like her phrasing.  And how could a curmudgeon with a company called almost adequate events not love lyrics like 'put me on a pedestal Ill only disappoint you' from a song called pedestrian at best.
I was wrong. The more I listen to the album the more I love it.

Unearthed this again recently. Had forgotten how good Talk Talk were at their best.

Bonus points if you recognise the stadium at 1:07, without googling the band...

Racecourse Ground? (Though admittedly only because of the clue at 0:24.  Wink )
