I don't know why, but I really like the europop shite that this lot have done over the last 30 years! Bit embarrassing to admit, but:

Before I clicked on it, I feared The Goombay Dance Band from the description...

I keep banging on about the Editors here, but I haven't really been able to listen to anything else that brings me so much pleasure for months. Their new album is now out, and as my copy has yet to arrive in the post (fucking 'confirmed release date delivery' my arse), I have been unable to get the two songs they've posted on their official youtube out of my head.

I am disqualified from commenting (though I shall listen). It is up to the next person to throw their hat in the ring and offer an opinion of your selection and then they post their own song.

Strictly speaking you were supposed to offer an opinion of the previous song.

Very listenable, a touch of the U2's , who they have clearly studiously examined and attempted to replicate. Certainly not a unique sound for the aforementioned reason. Anyhow, this is the sort of reaction I was trying to elicit on the other thread. You should have posted it there.

Think it's fair to say there has never been a vocalist quite like Captain Beefheart

New Queens of the Stone Age album (...Like Clockwork) has been on my car stereo permanently for the last week or so, and this is by far my favourite track.
