basically i've an old Honeywell T6360B Thermastat which has stopped working properly. it would constantly click at 15 deg regardless of how hot the house was.

now i've gone and got me a Drayton RTS1 which i have wired up yet nothing is happening. wires are to the correct terminals but nothing will switch on with the boiler.

my wiring is pretty old.
currently got:
green/yellow - Earth
Black - Nutural
Red - Live

i've hooked the GY to the earth sigh and the live/nutural to their designated socket. unfortunaitly there is nothing going to 3 (switched live output) which is where i think this is failing.

maybe i need a different thermastat?

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't things like that meant to be left to professionals?

This sounds like an episode of Michael Burke's 999 rescue just waiting to happen!

it's only changing the thermostat on the wall which tells the boiler how hot it is. figured it out anyway.

our system is a 2 wire and i've purchased a 3 wire thermostat. hence why it's not working.

back to B&Q i go

and i've not blown myself or the house up.....................................YET!!!
