It's just dawned upon me (from browsing the team's forum that are obsessed with us Wink ) that Twitter could be used by the pox fans to abuse our players. My only concern is our boys are quite young and perhaps quite likely to be affected.

I'm sure our players are mature enough to be able to cope with a few twelve year-olds calling them gay.

Bloody hell Bazza, don't forget our lads are grown men, and can look after themselves. Since when have adult men become such delicate beings?

Hate to say this but I honestly couldn't believe that Oldham player was crying after receiving some unnecessary abuse from some racist scouser the other month. Yeah be angry about it, but cry in front of 40,000 people? Are you serious? I couldn't think of anything that some scouser could yell at me that would make me cry on a football pitch. Okay so the player was 21, but come on son, pull yourself together, get mad, get even, but ffs don't cry your eyes out.

Not at all Yeovil, in fact certain things make me cry, usually emotional family stuff, the kind of things that pull the heart strings, but abuse from some no mark in a crowd? Nope. Don't understand that at all.

I know what you mean, but a lot of our lads are young and constable (27), depending on who you believe, stayed at the pox after abuse on twitter.

I'm not saying they'll go to pieces, but like abuse over a telephone can leave you rattled, I'm sure twitter can likewise.

I could only take following fatbury for 24 hours. what a plank.

He's only one of a few people on there that makes me laugh out loud. I don't know if he's being serious with some of his tweets though, I always think he's trying to wind people up.
