Name rings a bell. Ex Oxford? Bournemouth having a real battle to keep hold of Eddie Howe.
Last ditch talks to try to get him to stay,after Howe had 6hrs of talks yesterday with Charlton.
They should give up now. Howe's head has been turned. Relationship with Bournemouth can never be the same again now. Sadly, the should now try to focus on maximising compensation etc. |

Penney's most succesful stint was at Doncaster I believe, has managed Darlington and Oldham more recently. Think most Rovers fans will see it as an underwhelming appointment. |

I suppose most Gasheads wanted Trollope out, but this is what happens. Rovers budget is lower than ours, but you've got to compensate an outgoing management team, then pay for a new team, not cheap, so Boards look for value. This will mean someone from the unemployed pool, who wont be too expensive and maybe can work with staff in place. The mongs who want Wilson gone think we'll get Mourinho in his place....apart from the thisis ubermongs who want Dave Byrne. |
