Didn't it stop working when the clocks changed too?
One of my best presents this year was an alarm clock - phones just have a habit of letting you down when they feel like.

I tend to set two alarms anyway as I don't trust myself with just one. So will they release an update to fix it or is it something the user has to do?

iphones are fucking overrated, they can make your face old and drink a fake pint of milk but something simple like setting an alarm or silencing a ringing phone without hanging up or answering it, they can't hack it.
a fatally flawed fad in my humble opinion

to silence it you just press the top button?
Agree on the alarm clock which is a pretty pathetic error.

Theres only two buttons, one at the bottom of the screen and one on top of the phone, it's the latter one.

Apparently recurring alarms work as do regular alarms on some of the older OS versions.

iPhone related but there's also a new free app called Viber which allows free phone calls, local and internationally between iPhones. They're working on doing it for texts too but it's pretty good & sound quality is perfect too.
