Someone needs to get him and Kemode on the same camera. I have no idea what the topic could be. Probably The Damned United.

I don't think I have ever liked a Bristolian as much as now like Ian Holloway.  Pure class.

I don't like him, but anyone going after Platini gets my respect... he's such a prick.

I've always thought Holloway's a twat and that video, although not helping his cause, does say what many think and needed to be said.

Holloway is a top bloke !

Love his rants - I know he comes over as bit of a yokel but his straight talking is so refreshing, and he says exactly what most people are thinking !

Must admit I wanted him as Town manager when we were looking to replace Malpass - we could've 'done a Blackpool' !

I think someone should get Holloway in a room with Blatter and Platini. Now that would be interesting !!

I would pay to see that.

we'd be in the championship now if fitton had seen sense, maybe even pushing for the premiership now. He had no budget at all at blackpool and has worked miracles there!

Absolutely no proof whatsoever that Holloway would've done so well under our budget.

He did very little with Bristol Rovers
He struggled to get a fancied QPR out of League One.
He did okay with Plymouth but bailed on them when it was getting interesting.
He struggled during his limited time at Leicester.

My guess is that he would have joined Swindon, made us laugh, made some wacky promises and then bailed to a club like Southampton.

To be fair, there have been a lot of managers who have struggled with QPR under the black-eyed midget and Italian pimp's leadership.

thats looking on the downside, Im certain he would have got us up , and then would probably have jumped ship, but at least he would have got us up, something which is looking debatable and unlikely under wilson currently.

How so? Management wise, there's not a massive difference between the two managers.

The only significant difference is that Wilson's biggest achievement occurred at the beginning of his managerial career by taking Barnsley into the top flight and Holloway's has occurred now.

the main difference is holloway has more recent and better experience at the higher level than wilson (eg had plymouth in the top 6, ok struggled with leicester but it was in the championship, also got Qpr promoted and then managed in the championship fairly recently).
After dropping out of the premiership 10 years ago, wilson hasnt managed above league 1 and has only managed 1 promotion from the basement league in all that time. dont get me wrong I am behind wilson and hope he cracks it with us, just you can see where he has made his mistakes and why we didnt hit the ground running this season.
