 Austin will be sold, perhaps not in Jan, but almost certainly in the summer, if he's still doing some business.  It's how modern football is.

When Charlie talks about the team in interviews, he says he plays for "The Town" (not "Swindon"), and kisses his badge and jumps into the fans etc when he scores.

Combine that with 6 from 7 games and what more can you ask? He's second top scorer in the league and was out for a month ffs! He's a genuine talent who's still developing.

He'll go, hopefully with us, but I wouldn't begrudge him going without us. At the moment we should keep our fingers crossed that he continues to do well, and if he gets in the England U21 squad that can only push his £££ tag up further for us!

If this poor run of forum continues into January, crowds dwindling and interest in the season evaporating, I can see Charlie off in January. It would be the right thing for the player to move on and cash much needed to pay off for the short fall in attendances and merchandise.

Surely in that position the loss of Charlie's goals without an adequate replacement would be a recipe for relagation, which would dent the coffers more than reduced attendances and merchandise?

I can't see the club letting Charlie go until the summer whether he wants out or not, particularly when we're looking over our shoulders at the drop zone. He'll be worth as much, if not more by the end of the season if he keeps tucking them away.

I'm not even suggesting he doesn't do drugs - I haven't a clue. What I didn't get was how this "news" is supposed to be widespread knowledge in Swindon and how he's (supposedly) been caught yet is still being allowed to play. The guy's clearly talking crap.
