Afternoon,
My phone is faulty. The silent to loud switch is playing up, it wont switch to silent if you flick it. Instead it alternates between the two when you arent even touching the phone. Has anyone else had this problem?
What are my chances of getting it replaced in a apple shop or vodafone store? Its under warranty still, got it in feb this year. Are they likely to charge me for repair?
Much love
A cunt xx

Probably something stuck in the switch. If it's still under warranty then send it back to Apple.

Book a session with Apple in Bristol - they'll run diagnostics there and then and if it is faulty they will exchange it NQA

There is a dedicated Apple iPhone support line, worth giving them a call (if you can find the number) as they were really helpful when I had a problem. Plus I'd imagine they can book a session at a store if it's necessary.

I watched about 20 seconds of this before having to turn it off. I was in serious danger of smashing my laptop on the floor and jumping on it repeatedly at having to listen to those annoying and irritating accents of US tv presenters

2302 from your iPhone, well, it's that number for O2.

You will only get it replaced by Apple if you have AppleCare so you will have to take it into a Vodafone shop to be sent off for repair. And don't ask me to nick you one cos we don't sell them anymore...

That's not what Apple say, if it's within the one year warranty you can go to them or the carrier.... http://www.apple.com/uk/support/iphone/service/faq/That says the place to start when you have a problem is.... https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do

AppleCare is 60 quid, repair should be free. Failing that do you have insurance? Just tell em you lost it
