I'm afraid not.

I've experienced the excitement of the day time in the Woodbine on a Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday many a time though, with me and my mates playing pool whilst the old and unemployed sit in the area between the bar and the fruities

Doesn't seem that long ago to me that pubs used to shut at 2:00 pm on a Sunday, guess teh law change sometime in the mid 80's.    They then used to reopen at 7:00pm, so it wasn't uncommon to see a bit of a queue forming.

Which is why in the summer I'd often head off to Frocester, to watch cricket as the clubhouse served drinks all afternoon.

I havnt been there on a sunday for years (well months   ). Done the odd one comming back from Swindon away weekenders.

Theres something about sunday drinking (talking past 9pm in town centres) that brings out the dregs and the filth. Chicago rock in Reading was the same.

I always used to do all dayers on Sundays after football.  Got very messy by kicking out time.  I still love Sunday drinking though if there is nothing doing on Monday.
