I thought everyone was loving Pericard 5 minutes ago?

Just since Peterborough.

If i picked the perfect team, you lot would have nothing to moan about. So to counter act this i have got Maurice Malpas and Colin Todd as my management dream team

I think that the most important thing, regardless of formation and personnel is that they do not play like a bunch of cunts.

Could be the same starting 11 as Saturday according to BBC Radio Swindon. Douglas is a major doubt & Prutton has still not recovered from a virus.

So, with Douglas and Prutton both out, who plays to make it a 4-4-2 which everyone is demanding?  we can't magic the central two back to fitness.  Personally I'm struggling to see a central pairing that I'd be happy with, especially away.  McGovern has shown enough this season to suggest he'd be more lost than Hansel and Grettel in a central midfield role.  He'd put the effort it, no doubt, but other than last season on the right of midfield he's looked spectacularly ineffective.

I'd go with:

Lucas
Caddis
Rose
Cuthbert
Morrison
Mcgovern
Evans
Ferry
Ritchie
Ball or Dossevi
Austin

but it looks too young and I'm worried about Evans not having an experienced enough head alongside him.

I think we have a central midfielder out on loan somewhere?

If we havent got enough central midfielders to play a flat 4 in midfield, then we certainly havent got enough to play with a 5...

Can we recall Timlin? If Prutton & Douglas are still missing then I would get him back. OK he is not exactly a ball-winner but he has more presence than Ferry, Caddis & McGovern who are all too lightweight. Some of the 'challenges' being made by those 3 on Saturday were embarrassing and we were completely dominated in midfield.

Amankwaah is clearly not fit so I would give Thompson a chance at right back, Caddis is not great defensively, he got roasted several times on Saturday by Orient's left winger including for their 2nd goal when he just fell over!

I do, however, like his directness going forwards so I would have him right midfield instead of JPM. JPM works hard but he is off form at the moment and needs a bit of time out of the team.

Agree that we need to go back to 4-4-2, so my team assuming that Douglas, Prutton and Pericard are not fit would be:

GK - Lucas
RB - Thompson
LB - Rose
CB - Cuthbert
CB - Morrison
RM - Caddis
LM - Ritchie
CM - Timlin
CM - Ferry
ST - Austin
ST - Ball

Ball over Dossevi upfront because Ball knows where the goal is and Dossevi doesnt!

If Prutton is out for any more games I would certainly think recalling Timlin would be a good idea, but given he isn't here we can't include him.

playing 3 more lightweight cnetral midfielders is an attempt to use numbers to improve defensively as opposed to having someone in there who can breal play up properly.  Could imagine Ling and Moncur if they didn't have McLaren sta behind them.
